Hello and welcome to my little nook in cyberspace. I’m a mixed media artist with an independent streak. As a freelancer, I bring 15 years to the art and design industry. You can often find my artwork in the local galleries of Omaha, and published works in Somerset Studio, Somerset Life, Where Women Create, and Creative Pilgrimage.
I’ve enjoyed painting off and on for years, but the Summer (2012) I devoted nearly every day to my paint, brush and canvases. It was magical.
My work has evolved into a mix of modern whimsy as well as abstracts. I have enjoyed introducing my work locally at Artsarben, Hot Shops (Winter 2012) and The Artist League Gallery (Winter, 2013).

I also enjoy teaching online E-Workshops, with over 25 online courses over the last five years. Wow, that’s a lot…where does the time go? Teaching has been a love of mine since I was a little girl. I majored in Elementary Education, but also had a love of art. Somewhere along the line I found a way to mix the two.

When I’m not teaching or painting, I am taking photos of my three children’s sporting events. When I get lucky, they all smile for me. Those are the keeper shots, right?

My hubby and I enjoy zipping through the local Farmer’s Markets, checking out art shows and sipping a glass of Chardonnay at local vineyards. Cheers!
