Because Your Eyes Look Hungry

In my last post, I shared with you a piece I had been tediously working on. The wave of inspiration hit last week and hasn’t slowed down. I have more new paintings to share. They are all quite different from my work of the Summer. So far, this series (Winter?) has much more soul. More depth, too. To be honest it’s hard for me to stop gazing at each of them!

They have captivated me completely. Maybe they will you, too.

Still very tedious work for me, not at all loose, not at all free feeling like what you have expected to see around here. But, like I said…I’m captivated. Her face, her eyes…
