A House Full

We had a great long Labor Day weekend here. I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a chance to write about it…so thought I’d make time to do it today! We had a happy houseful! Both our son and our daughter came home for the weekend, which was awesome. Nothing makes this momma happier than all her birdies home in the nest. Allie brought her boyfriend home for the weekend, too. He is a great guy and we loved having him here.

 

 

 

Where ever they go, their phones go, right? I’m guilty of that a lot, too, but am trying to get better. It’s a sign of the times though…so I thought this was funny.

We had a great dinner Sunday night. Smoked a turkey and had all the fixins. Then we brought out the Graeters Ice Cream! Yum. Are you a fan? We are!

My Sister in Law introduced us to Greater’s French Pot Ice Cream last year and we’ve loved it ever since. She even has pint coozies…she’s cool like that.

 

We had 6 different flavors, all with the chocolate pieces in them. Their chocolate pieces aren’t just pieces. Some are pieces and some are humongous chunks. The coolest part about the chocolate pieces is that it’s soft even though it’s in frozen ice cream. How do they do that? That’s why we love it and you have to try it if you haven’t.

The crowd went wild! Silly…she will forever be silly and that’s why we all love her so much…

It was a great weekend! Family time is the best.
