Art Journalista and In My Element Stamps

Getting pretty excited for Art Journalista, my altered journal EWorkshop…starting Monday, June 18! Here is a peek at the side of the altered journal, sun shining down on the tattered velvet ribbon. I had to capture that in a photo.

My new stamps came yesterday! Hooray! I carved out a couple minutes this morning to I try them out.

They turned out so great…I am really pleased with them.

 

I wrote “hello” inside that circle, then colored in some of the details. There is a great stripe (blue/cream) going down the left, but only a bit of it is showing in the photo.  That label is by Mary Ann Moss, those are adorable. The rest of the color on the page is just watercolors and text.

Here is a shot of one of the sets. I’m glad they are rubber, not acrylic. Rubber makes the best images…in my humble opinion.
