Went to The Winery

Last weekend we ventured out into the country to our semi local winery, . It turned out to be a gorgeous evening. We went last year and had the most fabulous evening. This year was, too! Sooo relaxing and peaceful, even amongst the couple of hundred people.  Everyone spreads out, so you don’t seem to notice them much.

 

We packed up the truck like we were never coming back, and had to carry all our “stuff” …chairs, a table, two coolers, a bag of munchies, blankets…and of course my big honkin’ camera so I could get pretty photos to share here!

My sister in law came too. Isn’t she adorable in this photo? We told her straw hats were required and she wore this cute one.

My hubby’s cousin came out for the evening too (but she wouldn’t do the hat).

Like everyone else on the hill, we got busy taking photos of the hot air balloons that launched right before sunset.

 

We went for a relaxing evening, and for the music…it was a Blues Festival. We ended up chatting most of the time so we didn’t exactly tune in to the tunes. It was good music, but not that blues-y…oh well. I wanted blues…the real kind. Oh well. Still nice.

Oh, and we got new hats for the evening. It’s a thing…it’s what we do.(Instagram photo)
